Update: New version of Chess Assistant Lite available

Convekta has made a new "Lite" version of CA available for download. You can get it at the Convekta download page, or at the ChessAssistance.com download page. Make sure that you also get the updated help file as well. It should be unzipped, and copied into the CA 7.1 directory.

Those that found the multiple part install of the previous version will appreciate the simpler install of this version. Note however, that this file is over 13M in size. Some limitations of this version include:

• No more than 6500 games
• Games with more than 256 half moves (including variations) can not be saved
• No Chess tiger (but Winboard support is present)
• CAP data only visible when all rooks are on the board
• Direct tree statistics are only visible when castling is still legal
• Classifiers are read-only
• Extra popup window appears at random times
